Pengenalan BAKIPT
BAKIPT atau Bantuan Awal Kemasukan ke Institusi Pengajian Tinggi merupakan satu program bantuan kewangan yang ditawarkan oleh kerajaan kepada pelajar yang layak untuk membantu perbelanjaan permulaan memasuki institusi pengajian tinggi awam.
Definisi BAKIPT adalah bantuan kewangan sebanyak RM300 sekali gus yang diberikan kepada pelajar yang berjaya mendapat tawaran untuk melanjutkan pengajian di institusi pengajian tinggi awam bagi membantu perbelanjaan permulaan.
Tujuan program BAKIPT ini adalah untuk meringankan beban kewangan pelajar dan keluarga mereka terutamanya golongan berpendapatan rendah dalam persediaan permulaan memasuki institusi pengajian tinggi awam.
Dengan adanya BAKIPT, diharapkan dapat membantu meringankan beban kewangan pelajar untuk perbelanjaan permulaan seperti yuran matrikulasi, buku teks, peralatan pembelajaran, penginapan, dan lain-lain.
Kadar Bantuan BAKIPT
Kadar bantuan bagi pelajar yang layak menerima bantuan ini adalah RM300.
Kelayakan Penerima Bantuan
Pemohon yang ingin memohon bantuan ini mesti memenuhi kriteria kelayakan berikut:
- Pemohon dilahirkan di Kedah dan menetap di Kedah (mengikut alamat pada surat kemasukan IPT).
- Jumlah pendapatan isi rumah bulanan sehingga RM10,970.00
- Semester pertama pengajian untuk pelajar baru 2024 mestilah sepenuh masa.
- Pemohon telah menerima tawaran kemasukan menyambung pelajaran ke sekolah/IPT dalam negara atau luar negara.
- Pemohon hendaklah membayar yuran pendaftaran awal pengajian atau mengemukakan resit bayaran/pengesahan penerimaan sekolah/surat kemasukan IPT.
- Hanya memohon sekali sahaja semasa pengajian anda.

Peringkat pengajian yang layak untuk membuat permohonan adalah seperti berikut:
- STPM
- STAM
- Sijil Politeknik
- Sijil Kolej Komuniti
- Sijil Matrikulasi
- Asasi
- Diploma
- Ijazah Sarjana Muda
Cara Permohonan BAKIPT
Cara permohonan boleh dirujuk melalui langkah-langkah berikut:
- Layari laman web https://eservices.kedah.gov.my/ibakipt.
- Klik bahagian ‘Daftar Pengguna Baru.’
- Isi maklumat yang diperlukan dan klik butang ‘Daftar.’
- Log masuk dengan memasukkan ID Pengguna dan kata laluan.
- Pergi ke menu ‘Perkhidmatan’ dan klik butang ‘BAIKPT.’
- Isi maklumat permohonan yang diperlukan.
- Muat naik dokumen sokongan.
- Hantar permohonan setelah semua maklumat dan dokumen dimuat naik.
Dokumen Sokongan
Dokumen sokongan yang perlu dimuat naik semasa membuat permohonan adalah seperti berikut:
- Salinan Kad Pengenalan Pemohon.
- Salinan Slip Gaji/Penyata Pencen Ibu/Bapa/Penjaga/Waris atau Borang Pengesahan Pendapatan.
- Salinan Surat Tawaran Kemasukan Ke Institusi Pengajian Tinggi.
- Salinan Resit Bayaran Pendaftaran Awal Pengajian.
- Salinan Akaun Bank/Penyata Bank.
- Borang Pengesahan Tempat Tinggal oleh Penghulu Mukim (bagi pemohon yang tinggal di kawasan bersempadan dengan negeri Perlis, Perak dan Pulau Pinang sahaja).
