1) Duit rosak yang JELAS NILAI:
Bagi kes wang kertas rosak yang JELAS NILAINYA ini, anda akan diberikan ganti nilai pada HARI YANG SAMA.
Syarat untuk mendapatkan pertukaran pada hari yang sama:
- Saiz duit mesti dua pertiga (2/3) atau lebih daripada saiz asal
- Tiada contengan pada potret DYMM Yang di-Pertuan Agong atau tulisan yang menggambarkan slogan politik
- Tiada contengan ketara/besar seperti tanda atau tulisan perkataan, angka dan lain-lain
2) Duit rosak yang TIDAK JELAS NILAI:
Bagi sesetengah kes wang kertas rosak yang KURANG JELAS NILAINYA seperti di bawah, wang perlu dihantar kepada BNM untuk penilaian dan diberikan ganti nilai pada tarikh yang lain.
Ciri-ciri duit yang kurang jelas nilai:
- Ada kesan dakwat
- Terbakar
- Dimakan anai-anai
- Tidak memenuhi syarat duit rosak yang jelas nilai (contengan pada potret DYMM Yang di-Pertuan Agong, saiz kurang daripada 2/3 saiz asal, contengan ketara)
